Join us for a vibrant Filipino American celebration featuring a 20+ vendor food and drink market, 20+ retail vendors, live performances, cultural showcases, interactive activities, and community organizations sharing resources and education throughout the day.

The market opens at 11 AM, with live programming and activations beginning at 12. Come hungry, bring your family and friends, shop local businesses and makers, discover community organizations, and enjoy performances celebrating Filipino American culture and creativity.

12:00 PM | Cooking Demo: Mindanao Chicken Pastil on Turmeric Rice with Palapa

The Docks

Chef Nancy will prepare Mindanao Chicken Pastil, served over turmeric rice with palapa on the side. A traditional Muslim dish from Mindanao, Philippines, this cooking demonstration offers an opportunity to highlight a cuisine and culture that is less commonly represented while introducing guests to the rich culinary traditions of the southern Philippines.

A group of Filipino B-girls come together for a collaborative breaking and hip-hop showcase based in Houston, featuring breaking routines, a showcase, and cyphers.

Think you can take on the siopao challenge? Join this free-entry eating contest featuring two rounds of five participants. Each round runs approximately 10 minutes.

The FYP Cultural Ambassadors showcase the Filipino culture through dance, music, costumes, and community events. FYP has treated the Houston community to colorful and exciting performances and family events showcasing the richness and importance of Filipino traditions, dances, and history. FYP is also the host to the popular FYP Street Fest.

Philippine Consulate Genera in Houston

The Philippine Consulate General in Houston will host an Overseas Voter (OV) Registration booth during the festival. Community members can visit the Consulate's team to register as an overseas voter for the 2028 Philippine Presidential Elections.
