Anchoring the program is the world premiere of Nicky Sohn’s bold new piano concerto, written in close collaboration with Loop38 pianist Chelsea de Souza — a vibrant reimagining of pop songs by Earth, Wind & Fire and Boyz II Men. Paired with works by the groundbreaking Julius Eastman and Pulitzer Prize–winning minimalist David Lang, this concert invites listeners into a sound world where nostalgia, playfulness, and innovation collide. Set in the expansive Z Atrium at POST, "Do You Remember?" is classical music turned inside out — unexpected, electric, and alive.
