Club Shugga Halloween feat. Ushka & JAXX

This Halloween, Club Shugga transforms Art Club into a site of queer ritual and revelry.

Glamour and sinister delights converge in a night led by the unholy presence of Ushka (NYC) and JAXX (Chicago).

‍

Ushka is a queer, Sri Lankan-born, Brookyln-based DJ known for merging global club sounds, South Asian rhythms, SWANA classics, dancehall, soca, jersey club, baile funk, and bass. She has been a staple in NYC's queer nightlife, having run the iBomba party for six years and DJing parties such as Papi Juice, Gush, Ragga, Bubble-T, Yellow Jackets Collective's Lunar New Year, Basement Bhangra, Moonshine in Montreal and more.

‍

JAXX is a Chicago-based DJ, host, and event producer whose dynamic sets blend techno, electro, pop and more. A fixture in the city's nightlife and queer scenes, JAXX's appearance pushes parties to their ecstatic extremes.

‍

On this hallowed eve, we welcome the city's biggest queer dance party back to the lustrous walls of Art Club. Prepare to be possessed.
