Public Art

Through the Moving Press is an exhibition celebrating printmaking as an art form in motion—dynamic, collaborative, and alive with possibility. Curated by MFA Candidate Jai España, the exhibition features selected works by students, alumni, and faculty from the University of Houston School of Art.

The exhibition invites the public to experience printmaking as a process of transformation—where image becomes impression, and movement becomes mark. Presented at POST Houston, the show highlights the evolving ideas and collaborative spirit that shape contemporary print practices.

Through the Moving Press is presented in celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Kathrine G. McGovern College of the Arts and the launch of the University of Houston Centennial Campaign, honoring artists and educators who continue to push creative ideas forward.
