The FIFA World Cup 2026™ is coming to Houston, and POST will stand at the center of the city’s preparations for this historic moment. We’re proud to welcome The Art of Soccer exhibition to POST, a campaign that brings together Houston artists and businesses to celebrate the world’s game through creativity and community spirit.

Each participating organization sponsors a 36-inch fiberglass soccer ball, uniquely designed by a local artist, with proceeds benefiting the FIFA World Cup 26 Houston™ Host Committee’s legacy programs. From expanding access for underserved youth to sustainability and human rights initiatives, the project ensures a lasting impact long after the tournament ends.

POST & World Cup

As the city’s cultural hub for creativity and community, POST will play a key role in the World Cup’s journey in Houston 2026. Earlier this year, POST proudly hosted the official one-year countdown celebration, and now continues to showcase the spirit of the tournament through programs like The Art of Soccer. With Houston on the global stage, POST is honored to be part of the energy that connects art, culture, and the world’s most celebrated sport.

About the Artist

About the Exhibitor

Originally launched in 2019 as part of Houston’s bid to become a host city, The Art of Soccer has become a signature program of the FIFA World Cup 26 Houston™ Host Committee. Returning in 2025, the campaign engages local businesses across the region to showcase their support for the tournament and Houston’s creative talent. Professional Sports Partners, a Houston-based sports marketing firm, is leading the sales effort, inviting companies to participate by sponsoring a fiberglass soccer ball. Each ball is decorated in collaboration with a Houston-area artist and then displayed publicly, symbolizing the city’s pride and passion for the world’s game.

Funds raised through the program are directed to the Sports Authority Foundation and support the Host Committee’s long-term legacy initiatives. These include “Grow the Game” programs that provide opportunities for underserved youth, sustainability projects that minimize environmental impact, and efforts to protect human rights. By blending art, sport, and community, The Art of Soccer captures Houston’s excitement for FIFA World Cup 2026™ while ensuring its benefits are felt for years to come.
