Join us for an immersive and creative DIY Sugar Skull Mask Workshop, perfect for all ages and skill levels! This hands-on workshop will guide participants in creating their own vibrant and uniquely decorated Sugar Skull masks, inspired by the rich traditions of Día de Los Muertos. Whether you’re an experienced artist or someone looking to explore your creative side, this workshop offers a welcoming space to learn, create, and have fun.

This workshop is led by experienced instructors, Irene Valentin and her daughter, Rennee. You’ll be guided through every step of the process, from selecting and applying colorful designs to understanding the cultural significance behind each element. All materials, including the mask, paints, decorations, and tools, are provided. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have a personalized, wearable piece of art that celebrates both tradition and your unique artistic vision.

Día de Los Muertos is a beautiful holiday rooted in the celebration of life and remembrance of loved ones who have passed. The Sugar Skull, or “calavera,” is a symbol of this celebration, representing the joy and vibrancy of life. Creating your own Sugar Skull mask not only allows you to participate in this cultural tradition but also offers a wonderful opportunity to express your creativity.
