Want to learn more about how to take your mission-based organization to the next level? On July 11, 2023, POST and Common Desk invite you to hear from Zion Escobar, the former Executive Director of the Houston Freedmen’s Town Conservancy, who will be speaking about her career path from green infrastructure engineer to non-profit executive and community advocate. Zion’s contributions to her profession and community have been recognized with her being named Engineering New Record Magazines’ “Top 20 Under 40 in Texas and Louisiana” as well as the American Society of Civil Engineers “Young Engineer of the Year”.

This talk is part of POST Work’s “Do the Right Thing” learning series which highlights the work of innovative social entrepreneurs in Houston. The learning series will be held in the Common Desk Training Room (Suite 1420) in POST’s Z Atrium on Level 1 and will be followed by a happy hour where attendees can network with expert speakers and like-minded individuals.
