Leslie Michael is a multi-faceted musician who performs and creates music that is diverse, sophisticated and exhilarating to the soul. Leslie Michael was born in Lufkin, Texas and raised in Houston’s Fifth Ward. Born to Leslie & Dorothy Goffney, he is one of seven children. Leslie’s interest in music began at Lamar Fleming Jr. High under the tutorship of Luther Brown of the Houston Symphony. However, it was seeing the Kashmere Stage Band that changed his life forever.
