Before the music takes the stage, come experience the story behind it.

Join us Sunday, October 4 at 1 PM at POST Houston’s Z Atrium for a special FREE screening of the documentary When Houston Had the Blues — exploring the artists, places and stories that shaped Houston’s remarkable blues legacy.

‍

We’re making the screening even more special with members of the film team joining us, including the Executive Producer, along with special guests connected to Houston’s blues story.

‍

Then, after seeing the history on screen, hear it come alive as the 4th Annual Houston Bluesfest begins upstairs at POST, with doors opening at 3 PM and live music from 4–8 PM.
