A pivotal figure in the UK electronic scene, Interplanetary Criminal is a torchbearer for the modern UK garage and breakbeat scene. Through his releases for labels like Banoffee Pies, Shall Not Fade, and Time is Now and now-legendary performances at Dekmantel and Boiler Room, he's championed a dark, slick version of UK garage that emphasizes tight percussion, low-end bass weight and unrelenting energy.

In 2019, he co-founded ATW Records with fellow producer and DJ Main Phase as a platform for the burgeoning UK garage and breakbeat scenes, releasing records from artists like bullet tooth, Riordan, and Silva Bumpa. And in 2022, he crossed over into pop territory, releasing the garage-tinted hit "B.O.T.A (Baddest of them All)" with Eliza Rose—a track that topped the charts in the UK and has now been certified 2x platinum.
