Caliente, a DownBeat Magazine and Houston Press Best Latin Band Award Winner, is the nationally acclaimed repertoire ensemble for Diaz Music Institute. Considered to be America’s hottest Latin youth group, Caliente is led by Grammy Nominated Music Educator Top 10 Finalist Jose Antonio Diaz. Alums of this ensemble have gone on to win Grammy and Stellar awards and performed with Stevie Wonder, Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez, Tory Kelly, Stephanie Mills, Nathaniel Rateliff, and TD Jakes, to name just a few.
