Growing up in Houston the child of Nigerian immigrants and having direct ties back to his family's homeland, Ope personifies Afro-American crossroads.
After ten years in corporate leadership roles and an MBA from Rice University, Ope transitioned into the hospitality industry with the vision of creating ChòpnBlọk, the crossroads where local communities and West African culinary traditions converge.
