BlendIn Coffee Club is a cafe, roastery and training campus dedicated to provide the best coffee experience. Our mission is to inspire appreciation of coffee through high-quality coffee, inviting coffee culture, excellent customer service, and approachable education.
We roast and serve over 10 different single origin coffees from around the world. Each coffee can be traced back to a specific country, region, farm, even a specific lot. We love travelling to coffee origin countries to source unique coffee. We are known for working directly with coffee farmers to bring prized coffees to the Houston area from award-winning farms.
Weihong Zhang, the owner of BlendIn Coffee Club received his PhD degree in Biochemistry. He worked as a postdoctoral researcher in Pharmacology Department, Baylor College of Medicine. A chance of cupping specialty coffee led Weihong into the specialty coffee industry. In November 2017, with a mission of pursing the perfect cup and sharing coffee knowledge, Weihong opened his first coffee shop BlendIn Coffee Club in Sugar Land, Texas.
Weihong is an authorized SCA (Specialty Coffee Association) Trainer. He is also a licensed Q Arabica Grader and Q Processing Level 2: Professional. In 2020, Weihong won 3rd place in the US Brewers Cup Competition.
